About

For some people, the last word in sailing would be to race atop the waves at breakneck speed. But for the owner of Levantin it means something quite different — gliding the unbounded waters while delighting in every mile sailed. This is what Levantin has been built for. She sails majestically, driven only by the wind (as today’s awareness of ecology demands), embracing the breadth and the span of the sea. The distinguished yacht designer Riza Tansu has realized all the owner’s goals, fulfilling requirements for spaciousness on board while retaining a sense of proximity to the water, to light and to the air. There is a level of comfort that earns a tasteful label of luxury. The result is a 36m / 118 ft. yacht which reflects the owner’s own style of life. It offers guests on board everything to make a spell at sea varied yet relaxed, luxurious yet adventurous, while being as close to the sea as the wind in the waves. Levantin was launched in 2009, and is ready to sail, conveying its guests to the loveliest yachting areas of the Mediterranean. Levantin can navigate from the Turkish south coast (also called the Turkish Riviera), where she is moored, to the nearby Greek islands, to the Dalmatian coast, or to Italy and on to the Cote D’Azur. She is perfect for local sailing to the unforgettable bays of the Eastern Mediterranean, or simply as your private base for experiencing the international and lively ports on the Med.

Interior Design

Continuing the expansiveness one finds above deck, the interiors of Levantin have a clarity of design defined by their optimal use of space. Comfort takes pride of place. The generous roominess is underscored by décor in light woods. Each of the four cabins has carefully planned cupboards and storage spaces, extending their spatial abundance. The bathroom of the owner’s cabin runs the full beam of the ship, divided into his and hers areas. The LCD video system is equipped with its own Bose sound system. The VIP cabin in the fo’c’sle has a similar profile, while the other cabins are also generously laid out. The deck saloon has windows all round, with roomy sofas and a LCD TV, also with its own sound system. The helmstand is separated from the saloon by matt glass, while guests interested in the art of sailing can view the navigational and steering systems at any time.

Lavish Decks

Being on board Levantin means breathing the breezes of space. The decks have been designed with openness in mind, offering luxurious lounges, shaded seating and light-flooded interiors. It is up to you whether you wish to voyage as a couple, garnering memories from seascape and landscape. Or perhaps prefer to sip sundowners with friends after a day under sail. Levantin has room for everything. Stand side by side with the captain on the bridge, linger on the shady stern or feel the sea spray while relaxing at the bow. Socially, the focal point of the yacht is its open-air table at the stern, which seats eight. Even though it is protected from wind and sun, the panoramic views from here are superb. As everywhere on board, you sense the generosity of Levantin’s design. After going ashore, you will appreciate returning to Levantin’s splendid privacy, and its sense of security even on the high seas, when the crew of Levantin run the rigging to the sails without so much as intruding on the guests.

Chef's Cuisine

The cooking on board is naturally Mediterranean, and the galley is fully equipped for cuisine at the highest level, according to your personal taste. Just beside the ship’s table at the stern is the yacht’s bar, not only open to passengers at sundown. What could be more invigorating than a stint on the spin bike at the bridge, at the first light of dawn, fanned by the slightest of sea breezes? Or, after a refreshing dip in the sea, taking breakfast at your own pace?

Water Sports Equipment

Levantin’s sporting equipment is an invitation to active and inquisitive alike, with mountain bikes for excursions ashore, spin bike and water toys: Kayak 2.5m, single person x 2, Waterski, Waterski board, 2x inflatable rings, Scuba diving equipment full gear x 4, Bauer Scuba diver compressor The 165 horsepower Novurania Tender is the perfect craft for all water sport activities, doubling too as a speedy sea taxi.
